Hotel Update

Hi again everyone,
We have received the rates from the brand new Tram Haus Lodge at Jay Peak and wanted to pass on some of the info so you can continue planning for the weekend. The new hotel has 57 studio, 1- and 2- bedroom suites as well as a lone 3 bedroom (first come first served). Each unit comes with a kitchenette, fireplace and a living room area, which typically includes a pullout couch. There probably won't be many other people at the resort that weekend since it is still low season, but we still recommend booking sooner rather than later. The hotel staff has put together a few packages with a group rate for us and they will be able to explain all the options and amenities to you when you call and mention our names and the date. Here is the link to the Jay Peak hotel page on the resort website, where you can find some photos of the hotel and some more details about the rooms:

The Tram Haus Lodge

We are organizing an optional golf tournament or trip to Shelburne museum that should both start around 10 am on Friday, so those of you that can free up your schedules and make it a long weekend are encouraged to book in at the hotel from Thursday night through to Sunday. On Friday night there is an out of towner barbecue that is open to everyone, so try to make it down early on Friday if Thursday night isn't possible. We recommend that you stay in the Tram Haus Lodge as this is where the reception will be taking place on Saturday night, but there are other options available either on the mountain itself or in one of the many private chalets that are available for rent around Jay Peak. However, bear in mind that there are no taxis, etc., so getting around will be difficult, especially after the reception festivities.

To book your rooms at the lodge, please call the reservation desk (1-800-451-4449) and mention that you are a guest at the Peters/Hall-Martin wedding.
